In addition to working as a writer, certified health coach, and blogger, I am also a practicing attorney. Presently, I have my own solo practice, serving clients in New York and Connecticut. I focus on wills, residential real estate, and business transactions, and provide legal research and writing services to other lawyers. Previously, I was an associate in the commercial litigation department of a large New York City law firm, where I worked on a variety of matters in both federal and state courts and in arbitration. I also clerked for the Honorable Joel F. Dubina of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and was an adjunct professor of law at Brooklyn Law School and Pace Law School, teaching criminal law, legal writing, and moot court.
